City to Launch Police Department Wednesday
The city is holding a ceremony at Town Brookhaven at 9 a.m.
Brookhaven's new police department will finally hit the streets Wednesday morning.
The city is holding a press conference at Town Brookhaven, 500 Brookhaven Ave., at 9 a.m. Area law enforcement officials are expected to attend, and the department will launch will a full ceremony that will include city and DeKalb County cruisers exiting onto Hermance Drive in procession.
Patch will be there to cover the event.
