Chamblee Police Looking For Carjacking Suspect

Police are looking for a suspect in a Nov. 9 incident.

 

Chamblee police are looking for a suspect wanted in connection with a Nov. 9 carjacking at a local apartment complex.

According to the AJC, the suspect approached the victim at the Chatsworth Apartment complex's mailbox location and demanded her car keys, cell phone pass code and ATM identification number.

The victim said her car, laptop, purse and other personal information was stolen.

Channel 2 Action News reported that $400 was withdrawn from the victim's bank account before her account was frozen.

The victim’s car was recovered near an ATM six days after the incident. The suspect allegedly tried to withdraw money from the same ATM several times.
