Chamblee Police Recover Nearly 50 Pounds of Pot

The marijuana was delivered to a local UPS store, police say.

Chamblee police on Tuesday recovered nearly 50 pounds of marijuana delivered to a UPS Store. 

The police department shared the news on its Facebook page:

On August 06, 2013 the Chamblee Police Department recovered 47.5 lbs of marijuana which was delivered to a local UPS Store. The approximate street value of the seized marijuana is anywhere from $700 a pound (for low grade marijuana) and $1,300 a pound (for high grade marijuana).

As of August 06, 2013 no arrests have been made.
