Ashford Park School is site for CEO's Second Town Hall Meeting

DeKalb County CEO's second Town Hall meeting of the year will be hosted in Ashford Park at the on Jan. 31 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

The county budget, public safety, jobs, economic development and delivery of county services are topics on the agenda in addition to the transportation options with an eye toward the vote in the summer on the transportation sales tax referendum this summer.

The CEO will also discuss OneDeKalb Lives, a program to put teachers, first responders and other citizens into homes in many of DeKalb County's most attractive neighborhoods; OneDeKalb Works, a plan that leverages public spending to provide opportunities for residents to secure gainful employment and grow small businesses; and OneDeKalb Votes, the CEO's initiative to ensure everyone understands the importance of voting and registering new voters.
