The suspect stole cash and a computer before leaving Monday afternoon.

An armed robber forced his way into an apartment on Buford Highway and held the resident at gunpoint while he stole from the home Monday afternoon, DeKalb County police said.

The 22-year-old victim said he was in his apartment bathroom at 3561 Buford Highway when he heard a noise from the front door at about 5 p.m., the police report said. When he went to check out the noise, he discovered the suspect standing at his threshold, pointing a medium-sized, black handgun at him.

The man pointed the gun at the victim's back and led him to the bedroom. The suspect placed a sheet over the victim's head and led him throughout the apartment. The suspect took about $350 from the victim's wallet and a laptop computer. The man then forced the victim into the bathroom.
