Why do I see a Brookhaven Police Sergeant EVERY morning dropping her kid off at elementary school in COVINGTON in her police cruiser? Don't they have a policy on how far they can drive their vehicles? Seems like we could be spending our money on something else. A gross misuse if government funds and equipment. Most police agencies have a certain amount of miles they can travel outside of the city limits they police. Those are brand new cruisers and a brand new agency ALREADY abusing funds.
