Alzheimer's Leader To Speak At Brookhaven Rotary

Leslie Anderson, CEO of the Georgia Chapter, Alzheimer's Association, will speak to the Rotary Club of Brookhaven.


The Rotary Club of Brookhaven will hold its weekly meeting at the on Wednesday, July 25, at noon and feature a speaker, Leslie Anderson, the CEO of the Georgia Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.

Anderson has a BBA and MBA from Mississippi State University. She was named one of Atlanta Woman magazine's community heroes in 2009 because of her work in the nonprofit sector.

Before coming to the Alzheimer's Association, Anderson was with the Red Cross for 14 years. She served in many different roles on the chapter, state and national levels. Plus, she had a leadership role in many fundraising efforts, including one after Hurricane Katrina in 2005.

The Alzheimer's Association formed in 2002 when different chapters across Georgia banded together and became one association serving the entire state. There are regional offices across Georgia, including one in Atlanta.
