Goddard School Presenting This Year's Brookhaven Bolt

This is the second year the Buckhead school has been involved with the race.


, an early childhood learning and development center in Buckhead, is entering its inaugual year as presenting sponsor for this year's Brookhaven Bolt.

"We did have a sponsorship level last year but this is our first year as presenting sponsor," said school owner Kellen Stennett. "My family and I live in Brookhaven and we've been aware of the Bolt since the beginning through neighborhood associations and the like."

Besides being the main sponsor, Stennett said the school will be , "handing out water bottles and toys for kids and things like that.

"We'll also be conducting a raffle to give away six gift certificates to Pretty Please Childrens Store," Stennett added.

The Goddard School this past September. The preschool now has more than 100 families enrolled.

Stennett said the school's program "is designed to enhance the emotional, social, intellectual and physical development of your child from six weeks to six years of age. We also offer after-school enrichment and a summer program for children up to seven years of age."

The USATE-certified 5K race will be held Saturday, May 19. All proceeds go to .
