A total of 17 people attended this past Saturday's cleanup day at Briarwood Park.

The Friends of Briarwood Park held a workday this past Saturday, and a record-setting attendance of 17 people showed up to clean up the park.

Chad Boles reported to Patch that "we cleaned up the trail, picnic pavilion area and the ravine near the park intersection. Another great success."

It's coming... MOMENTUM at Briarwood Park! After the cleanup, my children and I went back to the park on Saturday afternoon and they had so much fun running on the newly cleaned up trails. Laughter and exploration - just what a neighborhood park should provide for its residents. On Sunday, my son asked me: "can we go to that cool trail park again?" FYI, the new playground is finally starting to show signs of progress.
