Cross Keys Foundation to Build 'Little' Libraries
Brookhaven group teams will Atlanta Braves Foundation to promote literacy.
The Cross Keys Foundation hopes to promote literacy in children by building "Little Free Libraries," or free book swap units, where Brookhaven-area children live and play.
With the support of the Atlanta Braves Foundation, Cross Keys anticipates installing six to eight libraries in parks and near apartments, initially focusing on children near Cross Keys High School that are served by Woodward, Montclair, and Ashford Park elementary schools.
Cross Keys Foundation is calling on community members to help with ideas, funding and volunteering.
