Brookhaven Police Give Back to Children in Need

Some local children got $200 to shop at Walmart.

From the City of Brookhaven:

Brookhaven Police officers joined the DeKalb Fraternal Order of Police to help make a very special Christmas for 59 local children.

Brookhaven Sgt. Christ Shelton, Officer Trent Williams, Officer Usman Latif and Officer Scott Kubiak joined officers from other law enforcement agencies throughout DeKalb on Saturday to help the local children shop for Christmas gifts. The DeKalb FOP gave each of the children $200 to spend at Walmart. The funds were raised by the DeKalb FOP throughout the year.
