Free CPR & AED Training by Friends of Brookhaven Foundation and Cowart Family YMCA

As a continuation
of The AED Project, Friends of Brookhaven Foundation and Cowart Family
YMCA are offering a CPR training class on Sunday, February 23, 2014 from
1:00-4:00 PM. The training will be held at the YMCA located at 3692 Ashford Dunwoody Road, Brookhaven, Georgia.


The class is free but those who wish to receive the official certification must

perform required skills completely without assistance and pay a $15 fee for the

Julie Colon Koriakin, Executive Director, Cowart Family YMCA
states, "We are happy to provide this community service. In the event of
an emergency every single second counts. Everyone should know how to respond.
It greatly increases the chance for survival.” 

The Friends of Brookhaven
Foundation is a non-profit that was formed with the mission to foster a sense
of community and enhance the quality of life within the City of Brookhaven.  Serving on the Board of the Foundation are
volunteers: Shannon Cameron, JD Clockadale, Clayton
Conarro, Beth Diersen
and Elizabeth Werdesheim.
