Frosty Fun 5K

5K/3.1 mile loop around the Brookhaven neighborhood.  Runners, walkers and baby strollers are welcome.  No pets please.  Kids activities, music and sponsor tables for food, drink and sports gear.  Male and Female awards for various age groups.  This race will be chip timed by Runners Fit Race Works.  All entrants receive a race packet that will be filled with sponsor information, promo items and a t-shirt.

2nd annual family fun run/walk, benefitting Kindred Spirit.  Kindred Spirit is a privately funded non-profit home for pregnant teenagers who need a safe place to live during their pregnancy.  While living in the home, each young woman continues her education, learns about nutrition for herselft & her baby, takes birthing classes, attends parenting classes and/or adoption counseling.  She also participates in cooking & exercise classes, experiences cultural & artistic activities, in addition to receiving the individual counsel & guidance needed to structure her life for success once she departs Kindred Spirit.
