DECA makes a difference! Resolution effects PDK airspace rules changes

The DECA Board passed a resolution last April against the original proposed changes to Class B airspace including airspace around PDK.  Looks like the comments we submitted and the objections by others to the proposed changes were heard.  From Thomas Hogan, Chamblee City Council:

Changes in PDK Airspace better than previously thought (Thanks PDK for Posting!):

"The final airspace design set the Class B floor at 7,000 feet mean sea level above DeKalb-Peachtree, down from the present 8,000-foot-msl floor but 2,000 feet higher than the reconfiguration's earlier design."
