The meeting is open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend. Doors open at 7:30 a.m. and the program begins at 8 a.m. There is no charge for first-time guests; the cost for returning guests is $10 and $5 for members. A continental breakfast will be served.
This month Emory Morsbeger, a pioneer in the creation and management of community improvement districts in the metro Atlanta area, will speak to us about Community Improvement Districts. Mr. Morsberger was granted partial funding by the City of Chamblee to conduct research on the feasibility of a CID in our area (covering much of Brookhaven and Chamblee and some surrounding areas). The initial defined area is conceptual only, at this point.
