Easter Egg Hunt and other Easter events

Spend Easter morning (April 20) at Oglethorpe Presbyterian Church as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus.  The entire community is invited and welcome to any or all of the activities. 

  • 7 am Sunrise Service: Community Sunrise Service in the Chapel featuring the churches of Brookhaven Christian Ministries.
  • 9:30 am Easter Egg Hunt: We will gather outside the Sanctuary to begin our Easter Egg Hunt. Younger children (under 6 years old) will go first to find the colorful array of eggs filled with goodies. 
      • There will be a goodies swap table to assist with food allergies. 
      • In case of rain, we will move to the Fellowship Hall. 
      • There will be a professional photographer on site offering free family portraits.
      • 10 am Sunday School: Sunday School classes are offered for all ages. We will also continue with refreshments and coffee for those who just want to visit.
      • 11 am Worship: Our worship service begins at 11 am in our Sanctuary with communion and joyful music.
