Arts in the Garden

On May 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Skyland
Trail will open its campus to host Arts in the Garden. More than 500 individuals
are expected to attend to experience an Artists Market - with everything from
fine art paintings to jewelry, hand-dyed scarfs, and hand-crafted candles for
sale - an art gallery, art demonstrations and a plant sale. Live music and
spoken word performances also take place throughout the day.

The event is free and open to the public. Art and
plant sales benefit the artists who are living and thriving with a mental
illness, including bipolar illness, major depression, schizophrenia, and
anxiety disorders.
