3rd Annual ArtCAN Benefit for Pancreatic Cancer Research
Attendees at the third annual ArtCAN event will have the opportunity to spend an evening viewing pop-up performances from Atlanta Ballet, The Atlanta Opera and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra culminating in a collaborative piece “Speranza” (Italian for Hope) with music, dance and song performed for the first time. This very special evening is a fundraising event for the Joseph C. Monastra Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, which supports pancreatic cancer research at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions and at Emory University School of Medicine. Known as the “silent killer,” pancreatic cancer has the #1 fatality rate of all cancers and is the fourth leading cause of cancer deaths among both men and women.
ArtCAN is an evening of hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, keynote addresses reviewing recent breakthroughs in cancer research, live music, artistic performances and a fine art silent auction including a live auction featuring a violin from Pablo Alfaro. Event design and catering will be provided by Tony Conway and A Legendary Event, and The Capital Grille will provide catering for the VIP preview reception. WABE’s John Lemley will serve as emcee for the evening.
Tickets: $75, Host levels begin at $150
