A two-block portion of Clairmont Road was shut down on Saturday when a large water main break in Chamblee occurred.
Channel 2 Action News is reporting that the water main broke early Saturday morning.
Patch has learned that 13 valves have been affected by the 30-inch water main break, whose cause is unknown at this time. Power was also been reportedly affected in the Ashford park community.
Water service was also been knocked out to an undetermined number of homes in the community.
