Repairs Continue On Clairmont Road After Water Main Break

Water service was restored early Sunday morning, but some lanes of Clairmont remain closed.

Water service was restored early Sunday morning to all residents who were affected by Saturday's massive water main break along Clairmont Road, but some lanes of the street remain blocked.

DeKalb County spokesman Burke Brennan told Patch late Sunday night that Clairmont should be open by Monday morning's commute, but that one lane in each direction of the impacted stretch of road would be closed.

Brennan also said that water service to the Chamblee neighborhoods affected by the break was restored by 4:30 am Sunday morning.
