Readers' Choice: Kaleidoscope is Best for Late Night Bites

It's official.

The votes have been tallied and the people have spoken.

is Brookhaven's best place to grab a great meal after hours, according to this week's Reader's Choice poll.

"We really appreciate the residents of Brookhaven and appreciate their support," said Chef Joey Riley, after learning about Kaleidoscope's victory.

Forty-six percent of the 86 voters who participated in the poll believe that Kaleidoscope is the best place for a late-night meal. Coming in at a close second was with 38 percent of the vote. received 8 percent of the vote, and the received five percent of the vote. There, which opened its doors this Spring, came in last.

Consequently, Riley [or Chef Joey as he is affectionately known in the neighborhood] will begin a special late-night menu next week. He said he will keep the kitchen open until 1 a.m. on Fridays and Saturday nights preparing special meals exclusively for late munchers.

"We've been working on a 14-inch all beef hot dog with chili-cheese mustard that will definitely be on the menu," Riley said.

Patrons can learn all the new food items on Chef Joey's new late-night menu Friday, April 27.
