Playing at the Airport
A little known secret in Chamblee and Brookhaven is that the Dekalb Peachtree Airport has a playground where families can play and watch airplanes take off.
Children's laughter and screams of joy are not what you would expect to find at an airport. Nestled in Chamblee off of Clairmont Rd., Dekalb Peachtree Airport is breaking that mold.
Years ago the airport installed a playground off of the main runway so families could come, hang out and have fun while watching planes and helicopters take off and land.
