MARTA to Modify Weekend Rail Service to Accommodate Scheduled Track Work

Customers are Advised to Allow Extra Time for Their Trip

In order to accommodate scheduled track work, MARTA will modify rail service on all lines on Saturday, March 26th and Sunday, March 27th.  Customers traveling this weekend are advised to please allow extra time for their trip. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank our customers for their patience as we conduct this work to keep our system operating at its highest level.

Red Line trains will only operate between North Springs and Lindbergh; therefore, service between Lindbergh and Airport Stations will be running at a reduced frequency – every 20 minutes.  Customers traveling from North Springs will need to transfer to a Gold Line train at Lindbergh Station in order to continue southbound.  Customers traveling northbound from the Airport will need to transfer to a Red Line train at Lindbergh Station to continue to North Springs Station.  At East Point Station, all trains will board on the northbound platform.

Green Line and Blue Line trains will operate on a normal 20 minute weekend schedule; however, customers traveling between Avondale and Kensington Stations will board trains on the eastbound platform.
