Kittens Need Rescue From Feral Colony In Chamblee

The kittens are living outside Atlanta Vintage Books in Chamblee.

A Drew Valley neighbor of mine sent this information out about three, eight-week-old kittens living outside Atlanta Vintage Books in Chamblee:

"The area outside the store in Chamblee has been home to several cats (feral & non-feral) that have been dumped over the years. They do everything they can to trap the cats and get them fixed before babies arrive but they have a small litter that needs help and that they would love to see grow up safely in good homes. If they can't place them they will let them just grow up in the feral colony and they deserve better than that.

"One of the black kittens they had has been placed and they have four kittens left that are looking for good homes. They are about eight weeks old. There are two black, one black & white and one striped.

"They can get combo tests done on all of the kittens before a rescue or individual agrees to take any of them.

"Please let Mallory know if you can help find any of the kittens homes or are interested in adopting one.

While we are flattered that a business would rather say it is located in Chamblee than unincorporated DeKalb county, 3660 Clairmont Rd. is not a Chamblee address. Right now it is DeKalb and very soon it may be in Brookhaven. I'm just sayin'.....
