House Governmental Affairs Committee Final Meeting on Brookhaven Cityhood

The House Governmental Affairs Committee will meet for the third and final time in consideration of HB 636 Tuesday, Feb. 7 at 1 p.m.

The meeting is scheduled to take place in room 606 Coverdell Legislative Office Building.

While the meeting is open to the public, it is unlikely that public comments will be permitted during this time,  according to an email sent by State Rep. Elena Parent. Parent said that the committee chairman, Rep. Mark Hamilton, expects a committee vote on whether the bill will advance out of the committee, but noted that the agenda can change at his discretion.
