Brookhaven Chili Cookoff Set For Sept. 22

Patch will have a team there, and more teams are needed.

The 1st annual Brookhaven Chili Cookoff is set for Saturday, Sept. 22, and with 30 teams already signed up to compete (including Brookhaven Patch!), even more teams are needed.

The free event will be held on Apple Valley Road, in the warehouse district just north of Dresden Drive, within walking distance of the Brookhaven-Oglethorpe MARTA station.

The event runs from 11 am to 7 pm. Visitors can sample chili from the contestants from noon until 3 pm, or while supplies last.
