Old Five Points Offers A Taste Of The World

The three-day festival begins at noon on Thursday and runs through Saturday.

At the intersection of Ashford Dunwoody and Johnson Ferry roads and Donaldson Drive sits Old Five Points, and beginning Thursday, the area will serve as a place where you can sample some of the world's global cuisine.

The 3rd annual Taste of the World Fest 2012 runs from June 28-30, with all proceeds going to charity. Hours each are from noon until 10 pm.

Besides a sampling of a variety of foods, the event will feature:

  • live and local bands
  • a local artist market
  • dancing
  • free movie screenings.

Old Five Points encompasses seven restaurants, an Organic dry-cleaners and a  Walgreens.

Are you attending the festival today or over the next two days? I hope to be there at noon each day to sample the offerings!
