Haven's Chef Stephen Herman Named Partner

Nine years with Haven made Herman an ideal fit.

Executive Chef Stephen Herman, who is responsible for the culinary consistency patrons have come to love a Brookhaven's , was named parnter of the restauant this week, the restaurant announced in a press release.

“Stephen has been an integral part of the restaurant since opening day. His dedication, work ethic and delightful culinary talent have been a big part of HAVEN's success," said Haven owner Michael Arnette. "We appreciate Stephen and we are proud to have him on the forefront of our culinary endeavors."

Herman got his culinary chops as a mentee to renowned Chef Bob Waggoner who was so impressed with Herman's skills that he invited him to cook in some of France's finest establishments. He then returned and traveld to Atlana and worked at JOËL, developing his focus on classic and modern French cooking.

He then took on the role of executive chef at HAVEN where his style is described as a 'fresh, sophisticated version of comfort food.'
