Haven Patio Cele-BRAT-ion Primes Brookhaven Residents For Football

Brookhaven chefs Matt Swickerath and Stephen Herman grilled bratwursts on the Haven patio to kick off the fall football season.

Providing a festive place to linger after the Brookhaven Farmers Market, kicked off the fall football season with an afternoon “Patio Cele-brat-ion”.  Brookhaven residents relaxed the afternoon away enjoying “bratdawgs” and getting pumped for the UGA versus Boise State game later in the evening.

Chefs Matt Swickerath and Stephen Herman grilled bratwursts, hotdogs and andouille sausage over the Big Green Egg while the Haven staff offered a selection of wine and ice cold beer to keep attendees cool.  Encouraging guests to get up and dance, bandmates Gross, Hill and Callahan took song requests from the crowd and provided musical entertainment.

The live music continues every Thursday evening from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. throughout September.
