First Annual Holiday Party Set For Village Place

The businesses of the Village Place Shopping center are hosting their first annual holiday event, set for Sunday, Dec. 2, along Dresden Drive.

Events and activities include:

• Little House of Art Kids Christmas Party from 4:30-5:30 PM. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be present. Also, Santa will read a Christmas story and sing carols. There will also be Christmas face painting and other arts and crafts.
• Kaleidoscope Bistro & Pub from 12 - 4 PM will offer a discount for all holiday shopping center customers.
• Loving Local Artist Gallery & Boutique from 12 - 5 PM will offer 15% off boutique items, cupcakes and warm cider. There will also be a Toys for Tots dropoff location.
• Harold Florence and the State Farm team will be open serving warm apple cider to the community.
• The Beer Growler will be open during its normal business hours and will offer customers a special: buy a growler and get the second growler free. Glassware only. They will also have a glassware promotion on select beers.
• The Mercantile will open for the holiday party and will offer cookies and cocoa. It will also be running a sale on their items of 10% off.
• Marguerite's on Dresden will be open from 12-5 pm and will offer margaritas and a 10% discount off all items.
• Natural Body Spa will open and will have events throughout the day.
• A Holiday Pet Parade will begin at 2 pm, with a costume contest to follow.
