Finally! Chamblee Zaxby's Opens Its Doors

After months of delays, the new restaurant opened its doors this past Monday.

After months of halted construction and weeks of missed grand opening deadlines, the new Zaxby's in Chamblee finally opened its doors this past Monday.

According to Restaurant News, the 4,000-square-foot location in the Lowes parking lot on Peachtree Boulevard can seat 92 customers.

The restaurant's designated principal is Sheila Williams, who also operates an existing Zaxby's in Lithonia.

The new location is the seventh for DeKalb County and the 204th in Georgia.

Does anyone know what's going on at Malone Street in downtown Chamblee near the Senior Connections Building and MARTA station? It looks like a commercial/warehouse building is being demolished. I'm wondering what is going in there.
