CinéBistro Abandons Age Requirement for Special Twilight Preview

A movie marathon will lead up to the Midnight main show.

Twilight fans of all ages can enjoy the in-theatre movie experience Thursday, Nov. 17 as the theatre hosts a Twilight movie marathon leading up to a special Midnight premiere of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1, CineBistro announced Wednesday. 

The movie opens to general audiences Friday, Nov. 18. Tickets can be purchased online.

CinéBistro executive director Fred Meyers announced the decision Wednesday afternoon following feedback he received from guests who expressed their desire to share the experience with their children.

“We are delighted to offer this limited opportunity to a younger audience...Twilight gave us the perfect chance to do just that,” said Meyers. “Based on guest feedback, CinéBistro may or may not consider extending a similar 21 and under admittance in the future.”

Tickets for the premiere are $12. The movie marathon tickets costs $10 per person, and will feature Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse leading up to the main show. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for both the Midnight preview and the marathon.

Dining features include Twilight-inspired specials including blood orange Champagne and salmon ravioli with a wild mushroom ragout.

CinéBistro will allow customers who are under the required age to attend the Twilight film only for the duration of its showing at CineBistro as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
