Update: Cherokee Plaza Starbucks Set to Reopen

The store closed yesterday afternoon due to sewage problems that may have resulted from nearby construction.

The Cherokee Plaza Starbucks is set to reopen Tuesday afternoon as being temporarily closed due to plumbing issues that resulted in the store's restrooms being backed up.

Thanks to a tip from our friends at The Brookhaven Post, Patch was alerted to the fact that the store closed late Monday afternoon.

Steven, the location's store manager, said damages to either the water or sewer lines under the store or in the surrounding area was the problem.
