Town Brookhaven Gets Edgy & Artsy

Brookhaven Gallery launched ON EDGE: Beyond Editorial this Friday, featuring Atlanta artists David Rams, Jonathan D. Orozco, Shane Durrance, Anderson Smitty Smith, and Christy Murray displaying their fine art photography.

Though the photographers are often known for their commercial, fashion and editorial talents, the unique exhibit displays their edgier work beyond glossy spreads.  The overall show reflects the grittier side of humanity, street life, and world views.

At the Opening Reception, visitors had the opportunity to meet the artists and hear the inspiration behind their work, while enjoying a bourbon tasting from Four Roses and music by fiddle player Jeff Spirko and DJ Mike B. 

Sponsored by the Brookhaven Arts Alliance, the exhibit will be on display through October 28th when a silent auction will conclude the event.  The gallery is located at 4330 Peachtree Road, next to Moe’s in Town Brookhaven.  Any questions can be directed to curator Denise Jackson (404) 890-0532.
