I stumbled across this shop by word-of-mouth and was immediately drawn into its creativity and unique approach to gift giving. Fareeza Mohammed, local business owner of The Little House of Art mentions, “Mrs. Vickie is a very loving person; she really makes all her gifts from her heart and is very reasonable. She has custom made all of our aprons, shirts, and gifts for the kids… just to name a few.”

“Mother’s Day is one of our biggest days of the year,” Riley said.  She mentioned that shoppers enjoy the personalization and care that go into her gifts, especially during such special holidays like Mother’s day. Her customers, she said, look for unique gifts that speak specifically to their loved ones rather than store bought items. She adds, “I customize. My gifts are so specialized and so personalized that whatever you order is just for you.”

Riley’s company opened in 2003 with the mission to create unique gifts with love. She is continuously thinking of new, inventive ideas to create for her clientele. Riley explains, “I started off by making baskets for Christmas presents for family, friends, and colleagues. In time and with the support of my husband, it grew into something much bigger than that.”
