Famed author James Patterson kicked off the prologue to the 21st Annual Atlanta Book Festival on Sunday, and the man who penned the monumentally successful Goosebumps novels will speak on Monday, Oct. 15 at the Marcus Jewish Community Center at 5342 Tilly Mill Road in Dunwoody. R. L. Stine will hold a book discussion about his first adult horror novel, "Red Rain." Seating is limited and reservations are recommended. Judith Fertig in Brookhaven

Arnold Schwarzenegger in Tucker
