Veterans Day Parade

With the 70th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor and America's entry in the World War II occurring this year, the Georgia Veterans Day Parade Association of Atlanta, Inc., are honoring the Greatest Generation and World War II Veterans. James Madio who portrayed Sgt. Frank Perconte and Ross McCall who portrayed Cpl. Joseph Liebgott from the critically acclaimed mini-series Band of Brothers are this year's Parade Grand Marshals and Freedom Ball Guest Speakers.

The Parade is schedule to start at 1111 hours in Downtown Atlanta on West Peachtree Street south of Ralph McGill/Ivan Allen Blvd. It will proceed south on Peachtree Street, turn right on Baker Street towards Centennial Olympic Park making a left at COPD towards CNN Center and Phillips Arena. The reviewing stand is at the corner of Centennial Olympic Park Drive and The World of Coca Cola. A flyover is planned for 1200 hours over the parade route and Reviewing Stand.
