Curated by Denise Jackson, owner of Emerging Art Scene Gallery, the pop-up gallery features a photography exhibit in conjunction with the Atlanta Celebrates Photography Festival. Guests will be able to view the works of David Rams, Jonathan D. Orozco, Shane Durrance and Smitty Smith. Known for their commercial, fashion and editorial work, these photographers each show their edgier work through their fine art photography. Taking it beyond glossy spreads, the show will reflect the grittier side of humanity, street life, and world views.
Artwork by traditionalist photographer Christy Murray who has an appreciation for bold imagery is also on display.
Brookhaven Art Gallery is located in Town Brookhaven at 205 Town Boulevard, Atlanta, GA, 30319. It is open to the public Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, 6pm-9pm. The closing reception will be Friday, October 28th, 7pm-10pm, and will feature a silent auction with artwork donated by Brookhaven Arts Festival artists. The proceeds of the silent auction benefit the Brookhaven Arts Alliance.
