The winning designs will be unveiled at Peachtree Road Farmers Market on April 26.

Patch Staff Report

There's still time - but not much - for Atlanta high school students to show their artistic talents with a reusable bag design contest from COUNTRY Financial and Peachtree Road Farmers Market.

This year’s theme is “Grow Your Own Way,” which highlights the diversity of the people, places and goods farmers markets represent.

Atlanta high school students are invited to use their creativity to show what Peachtree Road Farmers Market, and this year’s theme, means to them. Ideas can be inspired from farming, Atlanta landmarks, images from the farmers market and everything in between.

The student with the winning design will receive a $1,000 scholarship. In addition, his or her artwork will be showcased on thousands of reusable canvas bags distributed to farmers market shoppers throughout the season. The bag contest will supplement initiatives to reduce waste and promote recycling.
