MARTA Public Hearing, Senior Program, Whiz Kid

1. Come back to Brookhaven Patch at 10 a.m. for the unveiling of this week's Whiz Kid by Mom's Content Columnist .

2. Seniors in the community are invited to to participate in various activities designed to get them active and engaged with other seniors at Activities include bingo, ceramics, walking, enrichment and other board games. Time: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

3. MARTA will hold its second of two public hearings today, May 17, at the DeKalb Maloof Auditorium located at 1300 Commerce Drive in Decatur and the North Fulton Service Center located at 7741 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs. The topic of the meetings will be the FY 2012 Operating Budget and proposed fare increases. Time: 7 p.m.

4. Gather up some friends and head on over to for Team Trivia Night. $2 Miller Lite and Coors Light. Time: 8 p.m.
