Frugal Families - Festivals, Sales and More!

You spend your days making sure you do the very best you can for your families, so this week Frugal Families searched our local sources to come up with great deals that won't break the bank, and may make your life easier!

Deal: Free arts and crafts for kids ages 5 to 12 years at Brookhaven Library. All your kids need to provide is their creativity! From 4 to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 19.

2. Borders Closing Sale

Deal: With Borders closing no later than the end of May now is the time to check out their closing sale, with books up to 50% off.

3. Noche

Deal: $1 Dos Equis every Sunday at Noche Brookhaven! Sit on the patio, let your kids watch the cars go by, and enjoy a cold beer after a long week! If beer isn't your cup of tea visit on Mondays and get $2 tacos.

4. St. James Consignment Sale

Deal: Kids outgrow clothes faster than a blink of an eye, and get bored of their toys before the package is completely open. So come check out the gently used clothes and toys at this bi-annual consignment sale. Deals to be had for every age range, so shop early!

Good Through: Friday, April 15 and Saturday, April 16, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

5. Dogwood Festival

Deal: This annual festival is a great way to spend a Spring weekend, and it is free for the whole family! Visit the artist market, check out the kids zone, listen to some live music, and enjoy Piedmont Park.

Good Through: Friday, April 15 through Sunday, April 17
