Five Things to Know Today: Oct. 19

Your daily dose of what's happening in your neighborhood.

1. Weather: The National Weather Service predicts occasional showers, mainly before 8am. High near 58.

2.Scoliosis Screens will be happening today at 6th and 8th grade students will be screened for scoliosis during their connection classes.  The Health/PE teachers will be conducting the screenings.  A letter was sent home on October 13 explaining the screening (CLICK HERE for a copy).

3. Head over to today with your young ones at 10 a.m for Toddler Time. Children will enjoy stories, fingerplays, rhymes, songs and more especially targeted to the developmental needs of 2-year-olds.

4. Network DeKalb Leads Group today at 11:30 a.m. Hosted by the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce, the Network DeKalb Leads Group meeting provides opportunities for serious business professionals to improve their income by forming relationships with other Chamber members and guests for the purpose of exchanging direct client referrals and leads.
