Five things to know today - April 15

1. Don't forget the umbrellas today, Brookhaven! The National Weather Service predicts a forecast of mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the morning, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. Windy. Highs in the upper 70s.

2. Each day at 10 a.m. is Mom Time @ 10 here at Brookhaven Patch. Come back at 10 a.m. for our moms content dedicated to moms and families. Friday is the day for the Great Escape. 4. Head over to for the  Kids Consignment Sales will be held in the gym located in the  Activities Building. The public sales are always held on a Friday and Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.  Saturday is half price day when many of the items will be marked down 50 percent.
