County Commissioners Approve Osborne Traffic Calming Petition

The 90-day process is scheduled to start immediately

A traffic calming petition for Osborne Road in Brookhaven was approved Tuesday by DeKalb County Board of Commissioners.

Justin Newell, a resident who stood in favor of the petition, told commissioners that speeding cars makes it difficult for him to exit his driveway safely.

A traffic study agreed with Newell in that excessive speeding qualifies the district for traffic calming measures to include signs, speed bumps,Β  and combintion of the two in some areas.
