Cook's Warehouse, Heart Association Launch Healthy Eating Challenge

Participants in Pinterest contest will be eligible to win prizes.

Cook's Warehouse, which has a Brookhaven location, is celebrating National Eating Healthy Day by joining forces with the American Heart Association in a healthy eating challenge.

In a Pinterest contest, Atlantans are being asked to create three original “pins” that describe the three best, most creative tips and tricks they use to eat healthy. The most creative will be chosen as finalists and entered into a drawing to win a Vitamix blender ($650) and other prizes.

The Cook’s Warehouse will also provide resources and ideas for Pinterest followers to use and share. The challenge ends Tuesday, Dec. 3.  In order to enter by “pinning” to the group board, participants must follow the Metro Atlanta American Heart Association’s Atlanta Heart Healthy Eating Challenge group Pinterest board and create his or her own “How I live heart-healthy” board for the Heart Association to follow.
