Brookhaven Wraps Up Food Truck Series Wednesday

This week's event includes a costume contest for children and pets.

Brookhaven celebrates its final Food Truck Roundup of the season this Wednesday at Blackburn Park.

In addition to some dozen food trucks, live music, children’s activities and a pet watering station, the event will feature a Halloween costume contest for children and pets with the Ashford-Dunwoody YMCA teen program judging at 7:30 p.m.

The event series launched in September with more than 2,000 people participating each week.

“The food truck events foster a sense of community, which is one of the city’s goals for our parks,” Mayor J. Max Davis said in a press release. “It makes me proud to see members of council meeting residents, answering questions and neighbors meeting neighbors. This event really brings everyone together.”
