Brookhaven Tour of Homes Scheduled for September

If you've ever wanted to take a peek inside the beautiful homes of the pristine Historic Brookhaven neighborhood, then Brookhaven Tour of Homes is the perfect event for the socially-conscious homes enthusiast.

The event, scheduled for Sept. 29 from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m., is the only one of its kind sponsored by the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Atlanta. The tour offers guests an exclusive look at the impressive homes in the heart of old Brookhaven, while raising money to help families with sick children.

"All proceeds from the tour will help provide temporary housing and support services to families of critically ill and injured children treated at local children’s hospitals, fulfilling the primary mission of Atlanta Ronald McDonald House Charities,” says Donna Davidson, the event chairperson.  The Brookhaven community has been "tremendously supportive of this program, opening their homes and hearts to the cause."

The event itinerary is as follows:

o   Luncheon:  September 14, 2011 from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

o   Home Tour: Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.

o   Luncheon Rain Date: Wednesday, September 21, 2011

 Ticket Prices:

o   Pre-tour ticket: $40

o   Day of ticket: $50

o   Luncheon: $30

o   Luncheon and Tour: $60

The Atlanta Ronald McDonald House is a non-profit organization  provides temporary housing and support services to families of ill and injured children being treated at local children’s hospitals.

The two Atlanta Ronald McDonald Houses have provided a home away from home to more than 39,000 families since the first Atlanta House opened in 1979.
