Brookhaven Police officers will be stationed at each center location. Guests will be able to charge cell phones and seek comfortable refuge until power is restored and/or roads are safe for travel.

“We are grateful to DeKalb Fire Station #2 and the YMCA for partnering with our police department to help make refuge locations as accessible as possible for those in need,” Brookhaven Mayor J. Max Davis said.

Please note that individuals seeking shelter at YMCA will need to contact Brookhaven Emergency Operations Center 404-637-0596 to gain access.
