Ashford Park to Install Street Sign Toppers

The new initiative is part of the community's plan to brand Ashford Park.

Ashford Park Civic Association received approval from DeKalb County this month to begin installation of street sign toppers.

The toppers will be installed first at the 25 entries into Ashford Park along Peacthree Road, Dresden Drive and Clarimont Drive as a way to brand the community, said the association's vice president Jim Eyre.

"There are too many entrances to cover boundaries with monument signs as you see in new subdivisions so we figured branding from the inside out Β - sign toppers would have much bigger impact for less cost."

The sign toppers would cost the community about $2,000 and will start to be installed early Sunday.
