"Founders Day is a great opportunity to celebrate the fraternity’s long history and the contribution and successes of its members,” said Travis McCloskey, (Mercer ’01) alumni club president.

McCloskey also elaborated on a new item on the agenda -- a raffle in which proceeds are to be donated to help fight amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), often referred to as "Lou Gehrig's Disease. “The ALS Association is Phi Delta Theta’s main philanthropy,” he explained. “We are appreciative not only to those who purchased tickets, but our local alumni who donated the items for the drawing.”
